Matthew has over a decade of experience in financial leadership roles. He has helped organisations across multiple sectors scale and improve their businesses through a focus on guiding organisations toward success through data driven decision making and lean, scalable processes, underpinned with sound financials.
After completing his accounting qualification in Australia, he moved to London where he worked as a self-employed Finance Consultant, leading several large-scale finance transformations, business improvement and M&A integration projects. In 2020, he moved to Vienna, where, prior to joining HYDROGRID, he worked for a Viennese online grocery start-up as CFO and helped them scale from incorporation to market leader with €80m of revenue in under 2 years of operation. Matthew is a CPA Qualified Accountant and holds an MBA from Imperial College London.
